Everybody, please do get your blood work done at least once a year

We don't appreciate it as much but the poor diet and much more stressful city life that our generation is leading is VERY different from what our parents saw.

We've seen people in our parents generation get BP, Diabetes, Sugar, other stuff at 45/50 or afterwards, but this trend will change for us. We're more likely to have ailments, as a function of the change.

It's hard to really comprehend or explain. You're probably happy, eating fried food, chips, drinking, smoking and maybe not even regularly. But believe me, it can add up.

Gift yourself a full body checkup please 🙏

I know of people who avoid checkup to avoid lifestyle change and medications that might follow😓

True. Especially the generation above us.

But we must bring the change about. We can prevent diseases than cure it, and hence regular checkups can save a lot of future medical costs for all of us.

And get the bills reimbursed for the annual checkup. Coforge does reimburse it from the variable kitty.

Let me tell you a secret. The reason why most people don't get their blood work done annually is because they hate their life as they are capitalistic slaves. They don't want another reason to feel shitty. In fact, a lot of people are leading unhealthy lives because deep down inside, they want to die accidentally as soon as possible. You can get as many health checkups done as you want, eat the right food, exercise and be physically fit, but as long as you are a capitalistic slave, you will anyway die little by little in your heart, mind and soul everyday and the daily grudge will devour you from inside.

Moral of the story: First get rich, then bother about being healthy. I'd rather be rich and ill than poor and healthy.

Kuch logo ko karna hi nahi hai.
If we start speaking about benefits of doing health check up then they say - kyu dara raha hai bhai? Itne young hai... Kuch nahi hota - mental problem hai tumko... Bohot darte ho etc etc.

Even though their family has history of diabetes and they eat lot of junk phir bhi check nahi karna - cause they don't want to face the truth and take responsibility of fixing their fucked up routine.
