I think AJIO gives 30% or maybe more over and above existing discounts to their employees. I have read this on a finance blog.

I can confirm.
It's not 30% on all items, but the discounts are good. Also, it goes above 30 during sales.
Works on Luxe as well.

So this employee discount that you are talking about, it is above and beyond all the bank offers and normal codes that one can use right?

Yes my friend’s father in LG,, and every LG item in their home they bought on huge Discount

yes, all big companies do. i got a huge discount from motorola, panasonic when purchased thru employees. But there is a limit. i think it was 2 purchases/Items per year.

My friend is a CA and ICAI has a special tie up with Bank of Baroda which gives a special credit card only to CA students and that I turn has a tie up with Samsung which gives extra 10-15% discount over and above any offer. My friend recently confirmed this offer by using his CA wala credit card on Samsung website and got awesome discount.

Intel gives laptops around 40% discounted with top Intel processors

Samsung gives a discount on its product.

Old companies used to do that. If you work in banks you'll get a loan with less hassle and slightly less interest rates. Companies like Tata also make it easier for their employees to buy their products relative to non-employees.
