People should consider sending their children in govt schools. Not sure if expensive private schools and colleges provide any life changing knowledge.

In all of my schooling, college and b school, the only things that help me are my knowledge in english, math and leadership. The rest is pretty much useless. One can learn these things pretty well at home and go to school to build social skills

. Getting top marks is different compared to learning.

Also, folks doing homeschooling are probably not interested in pushing their children to getting jobs. They would probably have family businesses, or would become investors, entrepreneurs or pursue similar independent professions where their potential success depends upon their ability rather than any degree

Why send your child to such premium schools, there are other non premium schools as well. You can save some money there and send your child to a good college.

people make hype for exceptional cases, no all private school fee is that much high, it only handful premium school. however cost is increasing roughly 12-13% all over private schools And after certain quality, paying high school fee is not worth it, unless you can afford easily

80-20 rule is applied most of palaces, pay 20% more on avg price point, you will get 80 percentile results, but to get reaming 20% you have to pay a lot and value of money keep declining

One perks of living in a state with high HDI is that you can send your kids to Govt schools and expect good results. Unfortunately quality education is a luxury in many Indian states.
