It’s a hack, not a fix. And as far as hacks go, they backfire at some point.

Can you elaborate

I used to have a lot of back issues. People who know me would tell that I underwent all sorts of random treatments (ayurveda, massages, don’t sit for long and standing desks). They just alleviate the pain and not fix the root cause.
Then met this amazing doc, Gladson Johnson (Attitude Prime, Jayanagar, Bangalore). He just said one thing. As an individual, you need to be so strong that any posture shouldn’t matter and not cause pain. And that’s possible if you solve the root cause : weakness of your back. Exercise right, eat right, stretch it right. I was told to undergo a surgery for disc bulges and what not and from there, I emerged into a person who could at my peak lift 100kg Romanian.
Point I’m making is, these things help but don’t fix your problem which is weakness of your back muscles. Tbh, pain itself is an unexplored science and hence, there is no guarantee that standing long solves your pain. It works on a case by case basis.
Sorry for the long response but I hope you got the drift.

Haven't purchased one but we have some in office, it's truly brilliant especially if you spend long hours on your laptop
I can easily feel the difference on my back at the end of the day

I use the one from Green soul. TBH i use it only when i feel sleepy, esp in the afternoon time

I bought the cheapest manual one from Kuffalo in Amazon And it is worth the money

It helped me a lot. I bought it from a brand called Hover. New brand but super satisfied with the quality and customer support. I bought below frame from them and got the table top from carpenter. I guess they have options with table top also.

Yes it is helpful. I've bought one from Featherlite(Motion Game 1). This product is good but there are other brands as well in the market.

No freaking idea
