Does companies really ask relevant questions in interview?
I had interview for a senior engineering role for a remote us company. They went too deep into xss attack prevention in JS. Does companies really ask about think that they follow or just focus on one topic and try to judge candidates based on that?

Just adding to my question: I have done several hiring for my companies but never judged or rejected any candidate based on one negative answer. This was not a security startup that it can be a major turn off for the interviewer. Want to really know that how should a person prepare for interview if out of thousand thing you are judged based on only one skill. No OOPD nor System design nor even DSA.
