Does AWS workplace allow the employer to monitor devices?

I don't know if it's a stupid question but a client wants me to install AWS workplace in my device

I want to know if it can be used to monitor or track anything on my device?

AWS workspace is just a virtual desktop, it depends upon client what application they are installing
