Welp, I started working with a new client and turns out the traditional, old school way of working doesn't work for me at all The boss is this middle aged guy and the only reason he agreed to not have monitoring software installed in my device is because I told him I'd leave and we negotiated to give non monitoring a one month test run The pay is decent but that means he wants every second of the day accounted for and he's got absolutely batshit crazy ideas (basically very very complicated and super expensive) for the company

Same experience, name and shame them. Also ask them to pay milestone wise, 50 in advance, 30 after some work. Pay rest of 20 then deliver project, else don't respond, but keep sending mails
