CTS Offer letter

I cleared technical round with Cognizant and had HR discussion as well where we discussed salary and other details. I have a notice period of 90 days and he informed my DOJ will be 90 days from 30 March but I haven’t received my offer letter yet. If I don’t resign now I won’t be able to join in 90 days. Should I wait for it? I tried reaching out to him again but he’s not replying to calls and messages. What should I do? Any idea, how much time does it normally take to complete background verification and getting the offer letter?

CTS Latest hiring is very worst…

I have came across same scenario where I attended a walk in at CTS and got selected for 33.5% hike and have been told that I can expect the call letter to be received in 7 days max. In that 7 days I been asked to fill out the application forms and I submitted over email.

Even after submitting the application forms, I Did not received call letter or any information related the delay. I have tried reaching CTS HRs hell times but no response from them. Then finally they reached me over a phone call couple of weeks later and told that my profile is being kept hold from business. When I asked for the reason the HR told me that my skill role was mistakenly added to the interview drive and no openings for that now.

I have told the HR that this the most ridiculous interview experiences and doesn’t follow any moral and my very disappointed with the process.

Companies are now a days has no moral and treating candidate’s like anything and doing such things.

Omg that’s really bad! Why do they even conduct interviews then.

Exactly my point, my guess would be due to very high demand they are hiring people and keeping them on light till they find someone elsewhere who can get the same thing on table like us but for much lesser compensation.

Please do not take any decisions till you get your call letter, keep reaching over mail and phone call. If no response, then escalate it to group IDs

Don't ever resign without an offer letter. Not only now but in the future also. HR not be replying because he might have checking and finalising other candidates also, majorly on salary and budget so don't trust hr and resign till you get your offer letter.

Sure will keep that in mind. Thanks!

Wait till you receive your offer letter then resign, they will give 3-4 days buffer in offer letter. For eg I have received my ol on 29th March and doj is 3 july. So don't worry

Please don’t make the mistake of resigning from your current job based on just a verbal confirmation. I had a similar experience with Boston Scientific — cleared the interview, had HR discussions, shared all the documents. But it’s been almost a month and I haven’t received any official offer or joining update yet. They keep saying the hiring recruiter is on leave.

Until you have the formal offer letter in hand, don’t put your current job at risk. Background verification and offer rollouts can take time — sometimes weeks or even more depending on internal processes. It’s always better to be safe than sorry.

If you don’t have offer letter don’t resign in any case and connect with HR via email inform that you don’t have offer letter so you may not able to join just within 90 days
