Crypto legit in India?

With all the regulatory uncertainty around crypto in India, is it still worth discussing? I feel like every time there’s a glimmer of hope, something else comes up to crush it. But on the other hand I know some people who made a shit ton of money by investing early on in crypto. I'm honestly confused. are you all considering investing in crypto?
