You should be consider yourself lucky if you get a cubicle. A lot of companies just have a bunch of open tables

Exactly no privacy at all. Also the colors and decorations don't mean much if u get stuck with a bad team

In my opinion, a good office have both spaces. For focused IC work, you need pvt spaces but for collaboration you need open spaces.

10:1 ratio for open seats vs cubicle is nice. Have noticed that IC work is done best in pvt focus areas but collab work is excellent in open spaces.

Unpopular opinion is that these cubicles look sexy and will qualify as a kickass work floor.

I love cubicles. I can focus on my work rather than involuntarily watching twhat other folk is doing. You can have some privacy as well. I funking hate open tables.
If you really need to discuss something, do it in a meeting room or open space.
