Lot will depend on your manager. If he is understanding then you can expect some slack. Most managers thrive on hustling/no WLB etc.

Most managers love a Yes-Man. Don’t be one. Push back work, set work boundaries etc.

Realized late but mental health is important. Hope you figure it out too

yes had some talk with him actually he explained well regarding with business perspective that he is ready to give me the release only when there is another opportunity ready. can't just keep in bench

Ask him if you can help on proposal writing, learning deck or something. If not take a few scheduled days off from work man. It will help you a lot to realign your focus.
