Nothing new..nothing controversial.. favouritism is part of every industry..although I understand the frustration. Not just Accenture but all other companies as well prefers someone else over you not because they are working more than you but mainly cause their work/ diversity is somehow giving more benefit to company....in product based the social media influencer are treated better than regular employees cause directly/indirectly they are doing PR for the company...so only solution is that keep your bag ready and know when to leave...

Same thing happened in my previous company as well. The only difference was that only male employees used to get promoted and all the female employees had to compromise with something or the other in order to get promoted.

Feminism has always been about equal representation. Can't understand why the person is outraged. If the majority of the population is ok with feminism, they should be ok with this. Diversity has been the last resort for equal representation. Every institution now has this - IITs and IIMs also have diversity quota.

Accenture is known to be shit

Happened in my first college interview for Dell, the girl who couldn’t pass aptitude was taken over me for a research profile when I had 8 research papers and book chapters.

Why? Equal hiring, we selected one boy so we have to take one girl.

It happens but needs to be called out. Mediocre hiring in name of diversity only works in some companies. Giving unfair advantages via gender, and reservations is just gross.

No wonder these people get discriminated later on. You reap what you sow.

Currently we are hiring AI engineers, but simply on skill and No girl exists in team of 5 yet, maybe there’s a reason?

100% true. In the name of Diversity, Accenture openly discriminates
