Company iPad damaged

Hey folks, I had an accident while commuting back from work which resulted in my iPad getting damaged.

Will I have to cover the bill for the repair? It that general practice?

Generally company products are covered under warranty. Recently I had an accident and mac’s screen broke. Spoke to the IT team and it was taken care of.

Depending on the warranty of the device, if it's an older version then you will have to bear the cost of repairing 50% of it. At least this was in my case.
