Companies doing layoffs are conducting offsites at the same time ?

Can't believe when you are laid off from your organisation and ur company decides to take their leftover employees on a retreat ...how stupid is that ? They even have the audacity to keep it public and share it on their statuses...it really heartbreaking . Specially when there is no hope for a job in the Market. Nevermind.. that's how companies are. Will be grateful for the free used company laptop and 2 months severance pay i got.
