Colleague asking my political views
How to dodge such such of questions,
Say I dnt discuss politics at work. Works best for me. Religion and politics [now synonymous though] are off limits at work.
Someone asked me this question and I sarcastically said "Mera toh mood swing hota rehta hai. Aaj Modi kal Rahul". Woh bhi hass ke chala gaya.
Tell him your pseudonym is Rahul Modi.
Counter Question him/her
Then if it's your group then it's fine else say u r apolitical:D
Just say you don't keep up with Politics. Works for me, always!
Unless they already know that you keep up with Politics. In that case, just mention that you haven't done research on it yet so you haven't formed an opinion about it yet.
Just say like i don't want to discuss here
Say it's none of their business (with more corporate jargon offcourse).
Ask him firmly and preferably on record, to not do that since it makes you uncomfortable. If he persists, have a conversation with the HR.
