Career roadmap for Program Manager
I feel when it comes to growth, tech developer profiles or product owners seem to be having so many opportunities and demand in the market. However, being a program manager, I do not know why I am not getting any job calls. I would like to understand from fellow PMs, what are the different avenues that exist for a PM who want to get into FANG or get to the leadership roles, earn 1 Cr or more. What kind of career pivots can be made or what certifications are actually worth pursuing which hold market value. I am a PM who is confused on how much is the earning potential for such roles. Does it make sense to move to product instead for long term growth?

Program management, project management, scrum master, agile coach - all these are dead roles. The only people in these roles who are still surviving as of 2025, are the old timers who have done the necessary fielding with Org leaderships.
