Can no WFO affect notice period?

If on notice period and we don't go to the office, will it affect our LWD? What all consequences we can expect? And why TCS is so rude/strict about NP and WFO?

No it won't affect your LWD. I did not go to the office during my NP. And one more thing - They can never extend your NP. It will only be a burden for them. Don't be over dedicated to your work during NP. Just do minimal work. This is the only time you will get to relax for some time before joining your next company.

Depends on the project. Even I'm on notice period, and I don't show up to office all 5 days. Mostly thrice a week. But I haven't got any call from HR yet.
