Boreddddddddddd

Single and bored AF

How to pass my time .

Being busy at work is fine but as soon as done with my work . Feeling bored ( I think I have to say this as lonely )

Is this normal?!

Have hobbies and learn new things - read a book, learn to play a musical instrument, learn a foreign language, learn a new programming language, learn photography, learn drawing & painting, etc.

There are so many things to learn in the world, that human life is too short to get bored once you start learning 😄

Quick boredom fixes: Change your environment - Even just going to a different room or stepping outside for 5 minutes can reset your mood. Your brain associates your work space with "done for the day" mode. The 15-minute rule - Pick something, anything, and commit to just 15 minutes. Watch a show, clean one drawer, text a friend, learn something random on YouTube. Often you'll keep going once you start. Get around people without pressure - Coffee shops, bookstores, even grocery shopping. Sometimes you just need human energy around you without having to actually interact. Voice messages instead of texts - Send voice notes to friends. Way more engaging than typing and feels more connected. Try something slightly uncomfortable - Join a fitness class, cooking workshop, or hobby group. The mild anxiety of new situations actually combats boredom better than comfortable activities. Schedule one thing to look forward to - Even small stuff. New restaurant Friday, movie Sunday, whatever. Gives your brain something to anticipate. We see this a lot in our Press Pause community https://chat.whatsapp.com/F6iWzeV56B64ltNhMafEkq , that sudden energy drop after work when you're alone with your thoughts. Really common for single people especially. The trick is having a few go-to activities ready so you don't have to make decisions when you're already feeling blah. Decision fatigue makes boredom worse. This phase usually shifts once you find one or two things that actually interest you. Just gotta experiment a bit.
