What’s the best you’ve seen anyone bounce back in their career?
My personal story is of a friend who got fired from Meta in the US and is now working as a founding engineer in an attractive startup making the same money but working on way cooler things. When he got laid off at meta he was so broken.

Know about 2 people who didn't get US visas after graduating. One was a MBA from Yale, another MS from ASU.
These guys had to first return to India and bear bad student debt while earning in INR.
A couple years down the line, they've taken up tech roles in Singapore or Dubai. They've also paid off the loans and are doing financially well.
