I'm here in north traveling around prayagraj, lucknow etc and you can really feel the terrible air quality. Especially in the evening.
We should definitely think about the long term consequences on our health.

You should watch a video of India in 1970 (my parents generation). The streets were so clean back then, the population has tripled from what it was back then. And the population is 8 times larger than what it was back in 1900. While china had strict population control my grandparents generation were popping 4-10 children. What dharavi was back then is what most Indian cities are now. Power vacuum to make strong decisions following the end of British colonialism has led us to this stage. Until one such PM comes we all are doomed to be sprinkled with religion.
Same here in Kolkata. I don’t know why no one is talks about this more often!!
