I have been working for my current employer for over 2 years as PM. Most of the employees haven't received any formal appraisal over the years. The company is going through some of the financial stress till last Dec. But it seems things are getting back in order as no more salary delays at my level.
I have heard and confirmed that few have received salary hikes either due to retention or other ways.
Searching for a job over the past 1 year but unable to land any yet. Its getting difficult to manage financially living on rent in mumbai, committing everyday to office and all.
HOW COULD I CONVINCE CEO OR WHAT SHOULD I WRITE THEM TO PURSUE THIS. PLS HELPPPP....๐ฅบ

I donโt think much can be done here as if you demand a lot more they might find a replacement. I mean it depends on the relationship with your management. But most circumstances itโs just about finding an employer who pays more.

Since i am the only PM (and product head) they are not in position to replace me immediately, i mean firring me. Plus I have alot on my plate in terms of work done which even PH doesn't know as he is new. Is that something helpful asking hike?

I mean this is your pov. You have to understand how much they value you. But yes do try to showcase what value you are adding to the org. In the end itโs simple ROI(salary v value you add) for them. Ideally they shouldnโt even need any explaining and they would give a raise themselves. But yeah go ahead and explain your situation to them. If they value you they would increase , if not you would understand where they stand.
