Just two things and things will be sorted (Almost)

• Archive inactive groups and people
• Whenever a brand messages you, report and mark them spam (if it is not very important to you)

Isn't there any tool/app to sit on top of WhatsApp and organise it?

Lock unnecessary chats and mute their notifications. And rest archive them permanently. No other option

I do this -

1. Archive all groups except my personal group (to add bookmarked links, save thoughts etc)
2. Both parents
3. Girlfriend I check on archived list 2-3 times a day. Ignore all WhatsApp group messages unless tagged to me. Reply to individual messages as per time received

1. Exit from all the old and unwanted groups that were created a while back for some purpose and now are just blanked out.
2. This is a one time activity, but delete all old conversations and chats done with ppl that you presently don’t interact with.

I usually talk to atmost 5-10 ppl, rest are just random family grps where we get blessings with good morning messages, and other irrelevant stuff. It will be good to mute them forever.

Note - I have noticed, ppl have started using “disappearing messages” feature, so you can try that too.
