I went there once.
It was horrible.
I think there were 12 guys and 3 girls, out of which 2 were from there own group only.
The one girl who came organically or maybe paid, left in between.
It was so bad that me and a couple of guys left in between, smoked up and went home.
I stay right opposite to one of their centres and god it’s annoying! Used to be quite nice with folks just dancing, singing n all initially but now they’re just screaming and a bloody nuisance! And I see the ratio also is mostly just a bunch of guys!
So my advice as a neighbour, stay away from them I need my peace and quite.. lol
I’ve attended Small World’s Speed Dating events in Bangalore, and I can confidently say it’s a great experience, especially for those looking to make genuine connections. What sets Small World apart is their focus on creating a relaxed and welcoming environment where everyone can feel comfortable.
The events are thoughtfully organised, and the atmosphere is light-hearted. Instead of the usual pressure you might expect at other speed dating events, Small World focuses on meaningful conversations rather than rushing to make quick judgments. Each round gives you enough time to chat with someone, learn about them, and decide if you'd like to pursue a connection, all in a very natural and organic way.
What I really appreciated was the diversity of people at the event. It's not just about finding a date; it's about meeting new people, building friendships, and expanding your social circle. The hosts do a fantastic job of managing the event, ensuring that everyone is engaged and comfortable. Plus, it’s always fun to see a mix of personalities, backgrounds, and interests coming together in one space.
The concept of speed dating is prevalent in the west. But, now in India also this thing is growing. The metropolitan cities, especially Bangalore are much ahead of this concept with Smallworld. They organise speed dating events at various places. By curating different events, Smallworld gives single people a chance to mingle and see if they can hit it off. If you have a hard time finding a partner, this can be a great way to get to know people. If not taking it to the next step, at least you can indulge in a new experience. Smallworld organises fun social gatherings and interactive games which can give you the chance to express yourself and also see if there’s anyone who matches your vibe. So, if you want to give dating a try, you can sign up for Smallworld.
I have this happening on Boho and Third wave coffee.
Have you tried? How was your experience?
