Anyone here who attends Rock/Metal concerts?

I recently went to two concerts in Bangalore. One was Bandland in Nov 24 and then Bloomverse a few days ago. I was never much of a concert person but attending this concerts made me realise how much amazing live music sounds. After that I have a deeper appreciation of music in general and also the people you meet leaves such a good feeling, almost like a warm hug. It was my friend who dragged me there and now I am looking forward to attend such more events by myself. The highlights were Mr Big, Avenged Sevenfold, Bloodywood and a few indie artists(Sutej Singh was amazing).

What are some your experiences with concerts?

I believe music can change you, and concerts are a way to experience that. For me going to a concert is a very elevating experience. You don’t just listen to the music but you feel it. I went to Coldplay and that was one of the best experiences of my life. I haven’t been any rock-n-roll concerts and I’m not aware of any happening in India or maybe I just never came across any, but I don’t know many indian rock bands/artists. Speaking of which, OP if you’re into rock music please share some more Indian rock bands/artists (i love exploring new music). I would definitely listen to the ones you’ve listed.

Sure. I am currently listening to Zero Zero, Raman Negi apart from what I mentioned earlier. I will explore Slain and GATC soon.

I had this strange feeling after attending my first concert where it changed me in a way um like made me more confident and more connected to myself. Hard to describe honestly. Like seeing some in person play music changes you for sure. Like you see them in their music videos or interviews but wow that presence is something else.

Going to Zed’s and Paper Kite’s concerts in March. Concerts give high dopamine.

I am new in Bangalore and don’t have many friends. I won’t be going home on New year. Can you suggest any good options for things to do on New Year in Bangalore? Any list of upcoming fests, concerts, shows, etc. would be much appreciated
