Wanted to know your experience of applying to cos here, did u start while in us? What salary can be expected, how are treated back here etc anything you may want to share
Yes I started applying from the states only. Salary is an issue but can be alleviated if you have previous job ex from the states. If not then will have to settle for lower salary unfortunately. My friend had previous work experience so he got a 55LpA package whereas I only got 30.
Treatment is good though in terms of education, clearly communication skills and soft skills will stand out which helps in both interviews and promotions.
Ultimately it is what it is, just accept the Indian job market and don't hold onto US salary expectations as cost of living is also much lower here.
