Analgoue Paneer Scam!!!
Recently gotten aware that most paneer we consume is most likely fake paneer, especially where the price of the dish is below Rs 300
After some observations now i can easily spot analogue paneer, here are some brands that usually provide fake paneer -
- most udupi restaurants with cheap sabzi (below rs 250)
- eat fit, wefit bowls (definitely fake paneer -> they provide so much paneer for rs 200)
- roadside dosa vendors
Government needs to regulate this and force restaurants to disclose
Worst thing is that even zomato swiggy are implicit to this scam.

What about Amul and mother dairy paneer ? They are fake too?
No..they are not fake. You can trust the big brands. Their whole business is selling dairy products. Just don’t buy Paneer from local shops.
Right, but recently a report was published by a big media house, they told that paneer and milk sold by amul and mother dairy combined is 5 times the milk production in india
I have stopped eating parneer outside. I went to a high end restaurant. We ordered paneer dish. It tasted very good, paneer wad very soft. I observed that after 20mins the paneer became very hard almost non edible. The dish price was 750Rs. I cook paneer dishes at home using amul paneer or home made paneer now.
Idts EatClub and their subsidiary WeFit is fake. I have eaten their keto bowls and paneer tikka and they tasted genuine to me (maybe that's because I am from Delhi, or maybe I am too naive)
