Altered pay slips
Hi everyone, I recently received an offer from a big tech company. I am currently working on a contract basis at my present company, and during the process, I shared a modified version of my agreement with them.
However, I’m now realizing that during background verification, they may compare the agreement with my bank statements. The amounts won’t exactly match because I increased the compensation figure slightly — by about ₹15,000 per month.
This means there will be a monthly difference of around ₹15,000 between the agreement I shared and the actual bank credits. Also, I do not receive salary slips in my current role.
What options do I have in this situation?

"The more you fcuk around, the more you find out 🥀"

There is one hole i.e you don't receive salary slips. You can forge some more stuff in that area.

Face it

Reject and find another org

Tell them you accidentally shared a wrong version or draft version of the agreement and offer to share the correct one.
