Accenture or IBM

Hi, YOE : 10+ years Skill: Automation Tool (TOSCA) CL: 8 (Associate Manager) My current CTC: 19.4 LPA( Fixed) + 0-27% Variable Pay

I got an offer from IBM with CTC as 24.35 LPA everything fixed no variable pay.

Do I need to join IBM or at least accept the offer letter and search for any new job or need to continue here in Accenture itself. what would be your suggestion?

Is it IBM ISL or IBM GBS? If it’s ISL then go for IBM. Otherwise everywhere it’s same whether it’s IBM or Accenture or TCS or Infosys

IBM is not a good option. I was in same position of you. They promised 12% bonus but not ready to revise offer. I believed and joined. But last three years no bonus no hike. Simply I am told PMR more than 1, return to office days not enough etc. I didn't expect this from such a big company. I regret not getting counter offer and not joining some other company. Bench policy also not good here. Just for the company brand I joined here and almost spoiling my career with out any growth what so ever though good performance.

Same here.. managers are given with rules set.. they blindly follow it..

Take offer and ask for revision before joining.

HR is not ready at all to negotiate 😞 .. saying tight budget constraints and other candidates are there in pipeline.... If I say no they will go for the next candidate..

Will they be ready to increase while joining!??

If there is probability to get more than 20% VP, then stay there.. Ibm doesn't give neither VP not good hike

Accenture as bench is very bad and almost all projects are of support and lot of restructuring happening in IBM
