Never, with no support from the west bengal government and all the violence happening in and around the state . Companies are reluctant to open offices in kolkata . Also they have better options like Bangalore,Hyderabad,Pune,Gurugram and developing cities like Mysuru,Chennai,Noida,Indore . With so many options available with better infrstructure and public transport why would any company choose Kolkata.

Agree or disagree . CPI and TC have ruined WB and Kolkata is loosing its charm

The state systematically destroyed all work culture. 10 Years is one generation. If one gen is lost, than the next gen has to work twice hard just catchup with the quality of life two gens before. Life in this state has been in particular decline, from 1960's. That's 6 generations of decline. This decline cannot be reversed. Any People with entrepreneurial mindset have left decades before. You know the situation as dire when government doesn't/cannot invest in the state.

This is not a dying state but a dead state.

Should government give basic necessities to laid off citizens?

While Indian government reaps and enjoys the taxation of high paid IT jobs, there are hardly any responsibility in taking care of laid off citizens. I’m pretty sure most high paid individuals are irritated with the 10s of lacs of tax pai...
