8 months work per year?

I want to work only for 8 months in an year rest 4 months want to live life. It's ok for not getting salary for 4 months which I can manage from my savings. The biggest challange is relatives and mohalle wali aunties 'beta naukri se nikaal diya kya?' Whenever I see labours at my sorroundings I find them they are more happy than me (I know grass is always greener on other side). But sometimes I feel jealous when see their mental peace. Does anyone else also thinks like that?

One needs to be a independent professional for that. Educated Professional like Doctor, Ca, Lawyer, dentist. One can become contractor and work on Projects. Become a private tuition teacher, It take time for set up if you are a first gen person, But once established, life is easy If the person is not greedy.

if you have enough money, become a farmer. Everything is free, can live in low cost areas, Government will take of everything. Only thing to do is eat and shit. Like it or not, 2 month summer is break time, unless you are growing vegetables.

Life is difficult only when someone wants to earn more and more money. In a growing economy like India, if our target earning are 25K-30K, we can do it with just little hard work.

But working in PWC and wanting to just work for 8 months and earn 30+Lpa is kinda greedy....
