2023: WFH vs WFO
It's 2023. Completed almost ~3 years working from home. Still believe WFH >>>WFO
What's your take?

Hybrid!

Hybrid is a scam if you have to move to another city. It is just to ease people with the wfo transition packaged as "Employee first culture" lol.

But if you don’t have to move to another city, hybrid does have its benefits. You cannot replace the in-person discussions and learnings with zoom calls.

I think it has its pros and cons . I have been wfh for like 2 years. I like it because i can utilise my commute time during days when i need to complete work. But sometimes you just want to have in person discussion as well

Anybody who is working from office in 2023 is a fool

I cry. They're forcing us back to office

You are free to choose, don’t live a life that you don’t want to

According to me, if you work on a legacy code base then you will need help from your co-workers and it becomes very difficult while working form home.
If you're working on something new, or a project independent from other projects then you can work from home easily

Let employees chose, simple

Screw WFO.

Hybrid

I think Hybrid is a Good Way To Go.

I have been working from home since 2015. I travel for work out side my home city often so it balances out but still prefer work from home. I just get so much done. Downsides 1)when I eventually move, I may not be able to adjust to the going to office routine 2) always available kinda work ops.. bet it 530am or 12 am.. you gotta finish your deadlines. Efficiency has its downside.

Hybrid works best.
