Fed up with my future in laws
I met a girl a girl through matrimony site and we had been talking since past 2 years. And i was waiting for her to get a job. Now we both are working at bangalore and things are all ok between us. Now we decide to proceed to marriage and my father contacted her father. And this is now the issues started happening. They decide everything on their own. The wedding dates, the auditorium. They dont even decide with her nor to me. I feel they are no adamant and its as if like we will decide and you have to obey. And whenever, we question these things, they come up with typical clinche indian parents dialogue. And next, is her father. When we went to their home, when we were all talking inside, this guy was sitting at the balcony and was looking at the phone. He is not interested in these things. I dont if they did not like me or not, i got a total bad negative feelings. Btw, this how they had treated her as well. No voice to say anything, if she is questions anything, she will be put up as the villian. And my father to some extent supports her father saying that you dont know the feeling of a father. I use to have dream of having small beautiful wedding but these people taking my nuts out. I am now feeling suffocating while thinking of wedding and these people. I write here just to let out things as these people are disturbing mentally. In shorts, its all ego and they want the things to be done in the way they think. Even write i feel suffocated. Tomorrow these people are coming home. I really dont want to meet them. My life was really peaceful before. Things have changed not because of me but of others. Except me and gf, everyone has a say in our marriage. To some extent, i feel ashamed that these things are happening in my life.
