Azure Cloud Engineer

Safe City Group is hiring an Azure Cloud Engineer to oversee the design, security, and operations of their cloud environment. The role involves managing Azure infrastructure, enforcing security controls like ISO 27001 and CIS benchmarks, and monitoring costs and resilience. Candidates must have deep experience with the Microsoft Azure stack, including Entra ID, Defender, and Sentinel. The position requires strong governance skills within an ITIL-aligned framework.

• 5+ years experience in cloud administration, engineering, or operations
• Strong focus on Microsoft Azure
• Experience designing and managing Azure infrastructure
• Hands-on with Entra ID, RBAC, and least-privilege models
• Experience in environments governed by ISO 27001, NIAF, and ITIL v4
• Experience with Microsoft Defender and Sentinel

Nice to have: bicep, arm, terraform, az-104, az-305, az-500, itil v4 certification.
