Infosys RAG dept - Mental Health Nightmare
I’m writing this on behalf of one of my closest friends who doesn’t feel comfortable speaking up, but urgently needs support. I’ve seen firsthand what they’re going through, and it’s heartbreaking. I know Infosys has its issues when it comes to work culture, but what’s happening here has crossed the line into inhumanity no one should be pushed to this extent just to keep their job. The work culture in Infosys, especially in the RAG department, is beyond toxic. I can see my friend constantly pushed to work beyond human limits — 24+ hour cycles and its becoming the norm, not the exception. No matter how much one give to this organistaion, it’s never enough. Weekends, nights, personal time, all gone. Mental health is in the drain for so many of them (before it gets too late), but no one seems to care. Management, especially Rhitu and Hema from RAG dept (not sure how they still hold leadership roles), seem to believe this kind of pressure is normal. They escalate at the smallest things, expect you to be online at all hours, and there's zero empathy. It's not leadership — it’s pure micromanagement mixed with fear culture. No support from HR. No boundaries. Just survive or get out. This isn’t just about being overworked — it’s mentally and emotionally draining on a whole other level. If you're considering joining this company, don’t. And if anyone from senior leadership actually sees this — do better. People are burning out in silence.
