Even delusion has a price cap
I have seen a bunch of orgs, recruiters, leaders crib.. on how they want top talent.. but are so so so surprised when the top talent has 3-4 offers from top-tier companies. Talk about double standards.. So basically want the best of the best, Available in the market - but only to you Visible in the market - but only to you Fits your budget - but still grateful to you Says yes in 24 hrs, but cool if you delay decision by another 8 weeks So basically .. You want a Michelin-star chef, to work in your hostel kitchen, for Maggi money, while you critique the maggi masala At this point, I really want to know 1/ Tumhare toothpaste mein namak hai? 2/ Who is your dealer? Bohut sahi maal fookte ho

Drawing parallels btwn big tech & michelin restaurants
https://www.facebook.com/share/v/asZRnskA6RQkFXQP/ the parallel I am talking of is that in such setting u might not have an exciting job or u work on very small part of the whole machine. So is this bad or is it good for one’s career ? With the tag, an outsider might expect the person to be capable of a whole lot but it’s further from truth. I am seeing complexity being added on in every industry now and it’s impossible to know a lot anymore. It’s like we’re slowly reaching a point where without AI we cannot keep the lights running in most of our jobs. Just a spaghetti thought like my code 🥲
