On top of this, their lands have been taken over, a Jiziya-like tax has been imposed on them and their being forced to convert - along with mass r*pes, kidnappings and sexual harassment of women while their husbands and fathers are beaten till their helpless. Section 144 has been imposed by WB CM in an attempt to stifle all dissent - even though the court order has declared that 144 cannot be imposed for this. Many witnesses have been going missing - allegedly taken across the illegally porous India-Bangladesh border. Protesting women and opposition workers are being jailed by the TMC govt. The WB Governor visited the village and his convoy was later attacked by a car full of goons. Lawlessness, extreme cruelty and utter fascism is on shameless display but no TV channel is giving this due coverage.
