In data engineering roles, is experience using some tool non negotiable?

My shitty role just uses SQL and data modelling and I am at 1 YOE and there is hardly much workload . But I keep upskilling in the side have mastered SQL in real depth and have learnt basics of tools like Airflow and DBT on my own. I spend minimum 1 hour daily upskilling. I am trying to switch but now I think I'll only be able to switch at 3 YOE given the market conditions . But the JDs for 3 YOE will require like 5-10 tools but I don't think I 'll have workexp with even half of them and won't get shortlisted even if I learn these skills in depth. How to go about this? And I am strong with Python and Pandas . Which tool should I learn in depth next ( I tried learning PySpark but I don't have much knack for it)
