I might be visiting USA in July, what are the things I should have on my checklist?
I don't buy Apple products but some electronics are way cheaper there that I'd like to explore, like a good quality fitness tracker for dad. Would it be possible to hunt for jobs/consulting gigs while I'm there on a tourist visa? Visiting SF would be impossible, I'm mostly restricted to Michigan and the trip is going to be 2-3 weeks max. Any other suggestions? Advice? I'm visiting after more than a decade (last visit pre 9/11), has anything changed significantly that I should keep in mind?
Kamala Harris More Trusted Than Donald Trump on US Economy, New Poll Shows
- More Americans trust Kamala Harris to handle the US economy than Donald Trump, according to a new poll by the Financial Times and the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. - The survey marks the first time the Democratic presidential candidate has led Trump on economic trust since the poll began nearly a year ago, with 42% of voters favoring Harris over Trump's 41%. - Harris's numbers show a significant improvement compared to Biden's in July, reflecting a shift in voter sentiment following Biden's withdrawal from the presidential race. - Despite strong US growth and employment figures, Biden struggled to convince voters of the benefits of his economic policies, a challenge Harris may overcome as 60% of those surveyed suggest she should diverge from Biden's economic platform. - The poll also highlights ongoing economic concerns among voters, with only 19% feeling better off since Biden took office and 42% believing they would be better off under another Trump presidency.
