Amazon SDE-2 interview experience
Recently gave amazon interviews for theirs ads team. My DSA round with LP went good and the lld and hld round also went fine as i was able to come up design in HLD covering metric’s monitoring and fail safe and in LLD i was able to cover p0 and p1 requirements. Got rejection after 4 days and recruiter said HLD and LLD rounds were not upto the mark. Folks i wanted to check where did i made mistake? I checked with interviewer also if he/she is fine with what i was suggesting and they were okay with it
Amazon london interview experience SDE-2 virtual onsite
I had my Amazon London onsite virtual interview today for the SDE2 role (6+ years of experience). The process included 4 rounds: 1. LP (Leadership Principles) + Coding: I performed well in this round, answered all LP questions, and successfully solved the coding problem. 2. LP + LLD (Low-Level Design): I managed to solve the LLD problem initially but got stuck on a follow-up question. Also couldnt answer 1 LP question well. Overall, I would rate this round as average. 3. LP + Coding: I performed well in both sections. 4. LP + HLD (High-Level Design): This round went extremely well. The interviewer appeared very satisfied with my responses. Given that one round was average while the others went well, what are my chances of clearing the interview? #tech #amazoninterview
