Need Career Advice: Cognizant vs. ProDapt (Verizon Project)

Hey folks, I could use some help deciding between two offers. I’m currently with TCS, serving my notice period — my last working day is tomorrow. I’ve got 4 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on GCP. Option 1: Cognizant Offered me 10 LPA (from 4.82 at TCS — so more than 100% hike). Role: GCP Developer / Data Engineer. No client allocation yet, so I’ll be on bench initially. The brand is stable, and I’m confident I’ll eventually get a project — but not sure when or what kind of work I’ll get. Option 2: ProDapt Solutions (Client: Verizon) Cleared both L1, L2 and client interview with Verizon. They’ve offered 12–13 LPA, and I’m trying to negotiate for 14–14.5 LPA. Role again aligns with my GCP skills and seems more project-specific. Concern: ProDapt is a smaller player. If the Verizon project ends, I’m unsure what kind of job security or bench policy exists. Heard mixed reviews — some say growth opportunities, others mention toxic management and sudden exits. My Priorities: Stability is important to me, especially as I’m planning some personal life milestones in the next year. At the same time, I don’t want to stagnate in terms of learning and pay. Trying to figure out whether the higher pay and client work at ProDapt are worth the potential risk, or if Cognizant is the safer bet despite a slower start. Would really appreciate your thoughts, especially from anyone who’s worked with ProDapt or been in a similar boat. What would you choose and why? Thanks in advance!
