Transitioning from Tech to Design: Seeking Guidance & Creative Communities to Build My Career in Graphic Design
I’m 22 and currently feeling lost in my career path. Although I pursued a B.Tech degree and am now working as a trainee at Infosys, my true interest has always been in the field of graphic design. During my college years, I occasionally participated in design competitions and poster-making events, which sparked my passion for creativity, but I never got the chance to explore it deeply. Now, I find myself wanting to shift towards a career in design. However, being 22, I’m conscious that I can’t afford to lose much time figuring things out. I’m looking for a clear roadmap or guidance on how to transition into the graphic design field and build a solid career. Any advice or direction to help me make this shift would be greatly appreciated.
