I am married 27 years old and I receive 1.35k post tax, insurance and pf monthly. I spend almost 53k on expenses (rent+ groceries + wifi+ dining out) then 11k my monthly expenses then I invest as follows: 1. Ppf - 5k 2. Equity + debt based hybrid policy of TATa AIA: 7k 3. Mutual fund: 30k I gave 10k to my mother for her MF. Then rest money I keep for miscellaneous. My wife is also working but she has just started working from 1.5 year in IT so not earning enough. So, she will start contributing once she starts earning a bit more. At the end of the month its only 42k I am investing and I feel its not enough. Though I receive a generous amount of RSU every year. What to do ? Is this monthly savings enough?
