Need geniune advice on choosing company for switch.
I'm a Senior Data Scientist with around 5.5 YOE . I am planning on for a switch as there is absolutely NO learning in current organisation. (Projects are not there , Even the POCs that we had picked on our own are not being priorized. Manager is also not from DS Background.) So I am very concerned about the fact that if i stay in this org for a long time , I would be totally outdated. I joined this org in Dec 2024. I've got two offers 1. Scaler : Lead Data Scientist and Instructor. Compensation wise its 25% raise over my current fixed numbers. Pros : Brand , Chilled Envt ( atleast from what I can get from Glassdoor reviews) Cons : They are saying some bandwidth would have to dedicated to teaching ( let say one or two batches with each batch having 12 classes/month) and rest you can devote time for other projects in Company or Enterprise projects ( other startups coming up and asking Scaler for solutions ) 2. Aviso AI : Staff Data Scientist Pros : Remote. ,GENAI based work ( Atleast from what they are claiming ) Cons: Dont know about the company + Ambitionbox reviews are very bad. I am very scared. How to choose between these two ?
