Presales in IT??
Hi everyone, I’m writing this as someone who feels a bit lost and unsure of where I currently stand in my career. I joined an MNC in December 2023 and was initially trained in SAP BW and SAP BW/4HANA. Unfortunately, there haven’t been any projects available in the technology I was trained in. However, I was fortunate to get an opportunity to work with our SAP Business Development (BD) team, which is primarily composed of IIM graduates, where we handle RFX processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ). Each day brings new learning experiences, and I’m especially grateful to be getting exposure to C-level interactions so early in my career. Still, I often find myself wondering—am I on the right path? Will this role offer strong future growth, both financially and professionally? What does the future hold for me? I’ve decided not to pursue an MBA for now, since I’m gaining valuable hands-on experience and truly appreciate this opportunity. But I can’t help feeling a bit anxious—especially when I see peers who trained alongside me moving on to higher-paying roles or clearer career tracks. It sometimes makes me question if I’m falling behind or missing out by not taking different steps. I know this might come off as a bit vulnerable or uncertain, but I’m hoping to hear from others who may have been in similar situations. Any insights, advice, or encouragement would be appreciated.

I am preparing for the GRE and looking for colleges out of India to give myself a new start. Please guide me on what I should do next and what not. Like am I on the right track?
