Layoffs - A complete mess made by the companies

From the last few days there were talks going on about layoffs in Morgan Stanley. Some 7% of the global staff will be handed over the pink slip in this week. Well... It started happening from today ... Few colleagues from my department were laid, and the reason being "company is trying to survive in the market, company is planning the road ahead by taking such bold steps". When this was announced, my anxiety shot up the next level and I couldn't wait for the meeting to finish. The past few years have not been great for the business worldwide due to which many companies are forced to take such steps. These companies just have been doing a hiring spree from the last 1-2 years that now they are regretting their decisions and letting off their employees. My question is - "If a company hires excessively during the bull market and is forced to lay off few of the employees during the downturn, has the company made an error by not evaluating the headcount or it was just simply the need of the hour" Please note - I know many people out there who have faced job cuts due to many factors, sincerely requesting people to take this matter very seriously

I am writing this while observing everything being at the clinic 1. A girl with pink and white nail art is watching reels. 2. A family of 6 persons is talking and smiling. 3. A person in a green T-shirt is watching Tehri. 4. A person with a broken leg is walking. 5. A girl with specs is looking at me. 6. A man in a maroon T-shirt has a noticeable stomach that makes him less handsome. 7. A Sardarji with specs is pointing toward medicine and asking for it. 8. Another Sardarji, around 6.5 ft tall, has a muscular build. 9. Two fans are moving at normal speed. 10. The name of the girl in #1 is Priya, and she is being called inside. 11. One person has his hand on his mouth and is watching TV. 12. A couple is busy on their mobiles. 13. The man with his hand on his mouth is called inside, and his name is Sanjay. 14. The doctor is an ex-chairman of the council. 15. Priya has walked out of the clinic. 16. Three more patients have entered the clinic. 17. An old man who looks very fit has entered. 18. There is a security camera screen showing the view of the road. 19. The clinic's timings are mentioned. 20. Priya has green eyes, but even with that, she wasn’t particularly attractive to me. She walked out of the clinic. 21. I was called, and the doctor took 400 rupees with a smile. 22. I am waiting for my medicines with my Nike shoes on.
