~RANT~ Recently, everyone might have heard name of ExxonMobil floating around for making Insane profits of ~$56 Billion in 2022, which almost parallel profits realized by Apple. One must imagine employees floating in Bonuses or gifts or whatever, for helping the company achieve this. And what we get is a food card loaded with INR 2500 that can be used on Zomato/Swiggy. The sheer audacity to give all employees this voucher with a mail stating (idr exact words, but it was similar) "A token of appreciation for all the dedication, hardwork and perseverance of our employees". Houston Office receives good bonuses, and India office has no system of bonus for employees. Salary increase that barely beats inflation and that too different for all employees based on a shitty employee evaluation system. All this after they mention Employees are thier biggest foremost and most important resources. Also, they claim they operate with Highest ethical standards. LOL. This is how you treat your best resources? By giving this 2.5k coupon, it would have been better if they had not given us anything than reducing the value we create for the company to these stupid cards. ~RANT over~
