Silicon Valley's Shift: Tech Investors Rally Behind Trump
- Silicon Valley, once a liberal stronghold, sees a growing number of tech investors supporting Trump for the 2024 election. - Prominent figures like Elon Musk, Marc Andreessen, and Keith Rabois have publicly endorsed Trump, citing dissatisfaction with the Democratic Party's policies. - The shift is driven by both ideological and commercial reasons, including opposition to Biden's tax plans and regulatory measures. - Despite this trend, the majority of Big Tech leaders and donations still favor the Democratic Party. - The support for Trump reflects broader national political divides and a strategic bet on his potential victory. Breaking It Down: Total Compensation as a Sr Silicon Design Engineer in Bengaluru
Why does Bangalore have such pathetic roads?
I have lives in a lot of cities, both tier 1 and tier 2. But nowhere have i seen road quality as pathetic as in Bangalore. Even remote villages in UP have better paved roads. And living in Delhi, I had almost forgotten that potholes still exist. I really want to understand how the silicon valley of India has completely failed at building even an average level road infrastructure? Is it due to corruption or something else that we don’t know of?
