Hardware Verification Engineer

IBM is seeking a Hardware Verification Engineer to work on server processor chip verification within their infrastructure division. The role involves designing test environments, creating test plans, and executing scenarios for Memory BIST, reset flows, and boot firmware. Candidates must have expertise in C++, System Verilog, and hardware description languages to maintain coverage and identify design behaviors. The position requires strong analytical skills and experience in automated verification scripts like Python or Perl.

• 5+ years of experience in pre-silicon functional verification
• 3+ years of experience in Memory BIST or Reset Flow/Boot Firmware
• Expertise in C++ and System Verilog for verification components
• Understanding of VHDL or Verilog for RTL tracing
• Experience in automation with Python or Perl
• Experience in test automation and test plan creation

Nice to have: stress testing, computer system architecture, microarchitecture, i2c, spi, phy verification, ip integration, soc, server boot flow, secure boot firmware.
