Mandatory WFO - Should I look out for new roles?
The title is pretty self explanatory but I'd like to give some additional context. I work at one of the stable, good biz unicorns of India. Good WLB, chill manager and work recently started to get interesting ( I joined ~10 months back). I have been getting bigger tasks and asked to look at the overall processes and monitoring. The reason I'm looking for new roles is not because I'm a prick and too good for WFO but I've come from working for a seed stage startup for ~1.5 years. So, whatever work I get here I do it in 1/2 or sometimes 1/3rd the discussed timeline and mostly the rest of the time goes in playing office politics (design, product clarifications, minor updates and QA signoffs) which I strongly believe can be done from home. Tl;dr - I get bored in the office and feel like I can use this time to learn something, build something or you know just some zazza 💀 TC - 22 + 3 (I believe decent for 2 yoe?)
