Need Help Closing Salary Negotiation (First Job Change, 6 YOE)

I’ve cleared all interview rounds and I’m now in the salary negotiation stage for an Application Engineer (Project Controls) role at Bechtel.In my current company I’ve been underpaid for a long time, so I asked for a 70% hike. HR said that’s too high and asked me to share a range, so I gave a bracket of 50–70%. They’ve mentioned the role has budget, but I’m not sure how to play this next. This was a grade 24 role and budget around 25lpa. Currently i am at 12lpa. A few more points:This is my first job change (6 years of experience).I shared my exact current CTC and there’s no bluffing from my side.I’ll be moving from remote to hybrid for this role.I also have a promotion tentatively due in March in my current company. But hike would be 10% I am guessing What’s the best way to continue this negotiation so I don’t lowball myself but also don’t lose the offer?Should I stick closer to 70% or play within 50–60%?Any scripts/lines you’d suggest when HR pushes back?How should I factor in my upcoming promotion and the remote-to-hybrid shift while negotiating?Would really appreciate specific advice and sample responses I can use in the next call.
